Junior Software Developer
Why is our Developer role the next step for you?
Sao Paulo is our main hub for the LATAM region. With a talented team of motivated, experienced individuals that are eager to create elegant solutions to complex technical problems. You’ll have the unique opportunity to join this small cross-functional agile team, targeting fast, feature development across our payments products in a mixture of both hands-on development and automation testing.
We have 30 people in the office, and there’s a great atmosphere as we’re shaping the future of payments in the region. We offer an energetic, entrepreneurial working environment with great opportunities for you to learn and grow. This is a great time to join an already successful business and further develop your career.
How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
Reporting directly to the Development Manager you’ll shape and deliver the Test Automation strategy by developing and expanding the framework of automation tests. To do this you’ll create automation tests using JMeter, Grinder and Selenium as well as working on the automation of existing manual test cases. Part of the role will be the implementation of new features, existing features or bug fixes. In close collaboration with the Development & QA team you’ll enhance current process on an ongoing basis and proactively identify improvements and enhancements to working practices.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
Ideally you will have previous experience as a Developer, with hands-on automation testing experience using a number of tools and techniques. We’re currently using JMeter, Grinder and Selenium for test automation. We write these in both Java, Pascal and C/C++. If you’re using Python to write tests it could also be a great fit.
This developer role is a mix of 70% automation testing and 30% development. You’re a developer with testing experience or automation tester/developer in test that would like to move further into automation.
You’re a self-reliant and pro-active team player who’s eager to make an impact in the LATAM region. Please send resumes in English.
