This role sits as part of a team who looks after data centre operational activities including quality control, IMAC (Installs, Moves and Changes), patching and hardware support activities. The team is responsible for the implementation and supervision of changes in the two principle Worldpay UK DC’s.

How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?

In this role, you’ll provide administrative support across Infrastructure and Operations for Data Centre activities. You’ll undertake DC operational activities including quality control, IMAC (Installs, Moves and Changes), patching and hardware support activities.

You’ll also be responsible for supervision of 3rd party changes in the two principle Worldpay UK DC’s and support out of core business hours DC activities as required. You’ll use Service Now to plan, review and approve DC changes and you’ll provide on-site support for troubleshooting issues with deployment equipment.

What will make you the ideal candidate?

We’ll want you to have experience using a service management application supporting Change, Incident and Problem Management, and you’ll have a good understanding of service management principles. Experience with cross platform hardware IT infrastructure and interdependencies including Storage/ SAN elements, Unix, Windows and Network are ideal.
